Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most loved festivals in India, and it began with great enthusiasm across India. Like 2020, this year too, many places, especially Maharashtra, witnessed low-key Ganesh Utsav because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

On the auspicious occasion, TV actor Shagun Pandey who also plays the role of Meet in Zee TV’s Meet spoke about his Ganesh Chaturthi celebration plans. He said: “Ganesh Chaturthi is the one festival that unites the entire nation together and that is just incredible. It’s the one festival that is being celebrated right from the streets to our apartments. This is honestly the beauty of our nation, when I travel abroad or when a foreigner visits India, I proudly define what celebration means by sharing Ganesh Chaturthi’s example. While this year I will be busy shooting for Meet, I will surely visit friends and near and dear ones to seek Bappa’s blessings.”

He further added, “To be honest, I am a very spiritual person at heart and till date, the first thing that I do before I begin my day is bow down to Vignaharta so that all our sorrows and hurdles are tackled by him. With the pandemic still looming over our head, I personally feel we need Bappa’s blessings more than ever now and while we would love to go all to celebrate, I would sincerely request each person to maintain the guidelines set by the State Government as it is very important for all of us. Seek blessings, but God will also help us if we help each other. Ganpati Bappa Morya!”

Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to all!
