Romit Sharma the talented actor who plays the role of Aditya in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is back in action and is enjoying the limelight as he gets to play his negative role again!!
The character of Aditya has always been the thorn in Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira’s (Shivangi Joshi) lives. But now, Aditya is out in the open, blackmailing Keerti (Harsha Khandeparkar) over a hidden secret.
We at IWMBuzz.com talked to Romit and he shared his joy at being back on the show.
Says Romit, “Keerti is now stuck in Aditya’s captivity. The proof that he holds against her is so strong that she has to listen to him. I am enjoying my presence in the show. When I joined the show in 2017, the team was very different. Now I am seeing new faces. It is great to be working with the new Keerti, that is Harsha Khandeparkar.”
Says Romit, “It is wonderful to work with Harsha. We connected from day one and enjoy shooting together. Shehzad Sheikh and I are very close buddies. So it is amazing to be with him. I have earlier worked with Mohsin and Shivangi and enjoy working with them.”
“It is a great feeling to be back on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. To be very honest, I have found great satisfaction in playing the negative character when compared to the positive ones. There is a lot of freedom offered to play a negative role. Being positive does not offer much scope, as the person usually sticks to his own values. I am getting lot of love from the audience for my negative character. I would expect the same love from my fans when I take up a positive role next time around,” he adds.
