Popular Bollywood actress Sheeba Akashdeep Sabir, who is best known for her film Suryavanshi, along with Salman Khan, is currently hogging the limelight on small screen as Sarika in Sony TV’s Haasil.
The thespian feels that she is blessed to be part of such an amazing show on TV.
She says, “I had to say yes to the show as the producers and actors are my good friends. The storyline is also something which has not been explored on small screen. Now, my kids are also grown up so I have time to work. It has been an amazing experience. My look is very classy and it has a strong personality. Along with such an amazing cast and crew, I feel like a picnic on set. There is more fun along with work.”
Talking about portraying grey shade characters, she shares, “I don’t feel getting stereotyped as they have their own flavor. It becomes really funny to enact some sequences wherein I have to shout at someone as we are all good friends off-screen. Sometime we complete our scene and end up laughing together. I feel it’s our job and we are acting. Sometimes my co-stars suggest me to be rude for sequences. It is part and parcel of actor’s life”
When ask is there any competition between the team, she avers, “I feel Haasil has the best cast on television. Hence I am part of the show. We are like a big happy family.”
Sheeba wants to explore the web platform, she adds, “I would love to do some edgy work on the digital platform as it allows exploring. Web is not restricted by age so it is even more suitable for actors of my age. I am really looking forward to working on the digital platform.”
