Popular actor Ssharad Malhotra is back to the TV screens in a new avatar in Star Bharat and Rashmi Sharma’s Musakaan which has seen a generation leap.
For Ssharad, he is back on his home turf, as he has had a long association with Rashmi Sharma and Pawan Kumar, with the latter being the Director of Banoo Main Teri Dulhann.
Says Ssharad, “This is a new journey and it feels good to be back with my family, with Pawan and Rashmi. This is the first time I am collaborating with them for their show. So I am all excited.”
Talking anout his character and concept, Ssharad avers, “Musakaan delves on the sensitive topic of the guy falling in love with the daughter of a sex-worker. The story sounds quite exciting. The love story will have lots of hurdles, and it will certainly not be a normal love story.”
Ssharad who has done a wide range of roles on TV is happy to get off his sophisticated Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki avatar for this show. “Raunak is a typical dabang character. He is an outspoken, outgoing, extremely loved, moody and unpredictable guy. To play Raunak, I have had to adapt to a new shade and my fans will love watching me in this avatar.”
The popular actor took to extensive travelling post the closure of his earlier Balaji show. “I went on a travel spree to Bali, Paris and Amsterdam. I knew that if I took up a new show, I will not get time for myself. I enjoyed my one month break and it was good enough for me. I would have gotten bored if I had a longer break.”
Ssharad addressed his huge fan base saying, “You have always supported me and showered me with your love. Keep watching Musakaan, kyunki mere chehre pe ‘musakaan’ hai.”
“Yesha Rughani is a very confident girl and I look forward to having a great on-screen chemistry with her,” he states.
