Swati Kapoor who plays the role of Mahira in Zee TV’s popular show Kundali Bhagya is happy that she is finally back on track with her character.
Says Swati, “I have been in the show for the last 4 to 5 months. But the track earlier was on the wedding of Preeta (Shraddha Arya) and I was not required. I have just started shooting regularly very recently. I am happy that the present track has me in focus.”
Swati who has earlier been part of successful shows like Mastaangi, Kaali – Ek Agnipareeksha, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Udaan, Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji etc, claims that her character Mahira is quite innocent. “The girl is in love with Karan (Dheeraj Dhoopar) and believes that Karan does not love Preeta. She keeps asking Karan about it and has placed her thoughts based on the vision she has. This has given rise to an interesting track. Mahira is positive, sweet and innocent. She likes Preeta a lot and also wonders why Karan and Preeta have not been able to understand each other.”
Swati is happy to be with the team of Kundali Bhagya. “I look forward to this track which seems to be heading towards the wedding of Karan and Mahira. Few in the Luthra family believe that after all that Karan has seen, wedding with Mahira is the best thing that can happen to him.”
Are there any chances of Mahira turning negative? “I really do not know as all the scenes that are coming to me show Mahira as a very innocent girl.”
