Mohit Malik the talented and versatile actor who was recently seen in the lead role in Kulfi Kumar Bajewala is a happy father as he has recently embraced parenthood along with his wife Addite. Mohit and Addite have been recently blessed with their bundle of joy, Ekbir Malik.
Mohit is delighted to celebrate Father’s Day for the first time.
Says Mohit, “Parenthood is wonderful. This is the best time of my life. I am glad that I have been home with Addite and spending time with Ekbir. There are definitely sleepless nights due to which the mornings get tougher to manage. We tend to get cranky. But the moment I look at Ekbir, the fatigue evaporates. I am glad I am not shooting now. But yes, since I am a workaholic, I want to return to work now.”
On his plans for the first Father’s Day, Mohit states, “There will be nothing major. He is too small for any kind of celebration. We cannot take him out at the moment. So we will be at home and enjoy the moment.”
Talking about his joyous moments with Ekbir, Mohit avers, “Even though Ekbir is a day child, we have to be up to feed him at night. He starts crying after every three hours. He gets up in the night. It has been a while since Addite and I have had a sound sleep (laughs). But as I said, I am enjoying it.”
Mohit expresses his feelings saying, “At times, I feel like life gets boring the moment he sleeps (smiles). There have been moments when I have wanted to wake him up and play with him. I want to be with him and look at him always. Now he has started responding. A few days back, at around 4 am in the morning, he was looking at us and gave us a big smile. We were simply gazing at him with joy.”
