Is Holi special to you? Tell us why.

Holi brings a lot of joy, color to your life. It depicts togetherness and friendship. That’s why it is special.

Talk about your best Holi experience.

It was the first Holi after I got married. My in-laws’ family is very big, with Devrani, Jethani, Chachi, Mami, Mausi, all being there for our first Holi. To get blessed by so many elders and playing Holi with them was definitely a very different and exciting experience for me.

What colour do you mainly like to throw on Holi?

Gulaal ka rang and yellow colors are what I like the most. I don’t like the neela and kaala rang at all.

Pichkaris or Dry Colour:

Playing with Pichkari has its own joy. So nobody can shy away from it. Dry colors are how you usually start playing, but eventually when you make a person wet by playing with pichkaris, it is an amazing feeling.

What are your plans for Holi this year?

This time around, Holi will be celebrated at home with family and Lord Krishna. Unfortunately, I cannot go to Patna as usual. But I will meet all of them through Whatsapp, Facetime.

Your favourite Holi tune/film song

Patli Kamariya, Mouni Roy’s new song. I really like the beat of it.

Whom would you like to play Holi with this year?

I will play this year’s Holi with the little one at our home. My sister-in-law has just got us a beautiful gift of a baby boy. She is with us now and I will play with him. I want to make color out of the real rose petals. He will be the excitement for this year.

Your colourful message on Holi to fans will be

Be colourful, healthy, and bright in life. This year we really need to get a hold of our emotions by being at home and playing only with our near and dear ones. Sit back, enjoy watching TV, films etc. Holi will come every year and you can enjoy it to the fullest probably the next time around.
