Is Holi special to you? Tell us why.

Honestly speaking, I have not celebrated Holi to the fullest in the last few years, when compared to my growing up days and even when I was a kid. I miss my friends and those roads and small streets in Jalandhar where we used to enjoy and play Holi. I cherish my Holi during childhood. My chachu used to be vibrant and all of us used to get ready in white kurta; my mom used to cook Puri, Chole, Halwa, Gobi Ki Sabzi, Parathe etc. Chachu used to get VCR on rent and we used to see a film. Those memories still linger in my mind. In college, we used to roam around on our bikes, play Holi. I used to play Holi so much that my mother could not recognize me for nearly three days (laughs).

Talk about your best Holi experience.

My childhood Holi with my family, as I said earlier, have been my best Holi.

What colour do you mainly like to throw on Holi?

It may be clichéd. But talking of colors, the laal rang comes to my mind.

Pichkaris or Dry Colour:

Dry Colors. I actually have a problem when much water gets wasted during Holi. Even at home, when our maid turns on the tap, I ask her to not to waste water.

What are your plans for Holi this year?

I think we need to take care of the situation we find ourselves in now. We need to be serious about the rise in Covid cases. We have a long way to go till the Covid phase will get over.
