Mahekk Chahal the talented actor who is presently playing one of the lead roles in Naagin 6 on Colors, is a happy persona in real life and strives to keep people around her in the same zone. Mahek feels proud to be an Indian citizen and takes time out from her busy schedule to address her thoughts on the 75th Independence Day that we are celebrating.
Says Mahekk, “I have always been inspired by the freedom struggle tales that I have heard while growing up. I have been closely inspired by Bhagat Singh’s achievements.”
Ask her about the correlation of Independence in day-to-day life for her and she is quick to say, “Being able to wake up and make my passion my career every day is the correlation of independence for me. I get to create happiness for myself every day and that should be a goal for everyone, to just be happy.”
In the areas where she thinks we as individuals can strive hard to make the place that we live in better, Mahekk expresses her thought wide and clear. “We need to keep our country clean just the way we keep our homes.”
Lastly, on the inspiring slogan that she follows that is related to freedom and independence of thoughts, the Naagin actress explains, “Always stay true to your goals and never let what somebody says distract you from your goals.”
