The day 15 August has arrived, and we the citizens of India are ready to double up our energy levels in showcasing our patriotic fervour. As our nation gears up for the 75th Independence Day, we have our telly actors sharing their thoughts on what they feel about Independent India. Jasmin Bhasin speaks her thoughts out to IWMBuzz.com.
Says Jasmin, “Independence is the right for everyone to live life the right way and by being happy.”
Ask her about the patriotic fervour that she holds in her, and Jasmin expresses, “I live in India and I love my India. It is important to speak up in today’s times; you need to express your thoughts and take action about issues that bother you. I feel girl education and women safety are two important issues that need to be prioritized. We have survived the pandemic; I am sure unity is strength.”
While Bhagat Singh is Jasmin’s favourite freedom fighter, her most liked patriotic song is Teri Mitti from Kesari.
Again stressing on the fact, Jasmin states, “We as a country should work towards getting every girl child educated. Also, women safety needs to be prioritized.”
