Actress Pavvitra Punia who is known for her engaging self in Bigg Boss believes that equality in all sectors can help our country to prosper more. On the occasion of India’s 75th year of Independence, Pavvitra talks about her thoughts on freedom and Independent India.
Here you go!!
Which freedom fighter’s efforts have inspired you always?
Netaji is someone I have closely followed in the years of me being aware of our independence and understanding its significance. It’s important to not just accept we are free but to understand it too.
The correlation of independence in day-to-day life for you will be:
Freedom of speech and to be able to do whatever one wishes to, so long as it doesn’t not harm anyone or oneself. As actors mainly every little thing we say is scrutinised and we get trolled, but we should be allowed to voice our opinion too.
What are the areas where you think we as individuals can strive hard to make the place that we live in better?
Equality across all segments and borders and sexes.
What is the inspiring slogan that you follow that is related to freedom and independence of thoughts?
I believe in a mix of everything, nothing particular but something along the lines of live and let live.
Happy 75th Year of Indian Independence to all!!
