They say a mother is one who can take the place of all others, but nobody can take her place, and we all know this could be an axiomatic truth. The duty of a mother is endless and her job relentless. Mother’s Day is the celebration that honours such unbelievable selfless humans that take care of us and nurture us through our lives. Today, we have Ishk Par Zor Nahi actors Param Singh, Akshita Mudgal, and Shagun Sharma sharing about their special bond with their mothers.

Param, who is seen as Ahaan, says, “Mothers are precious souls. I, for one, have always been super close to my mother. She is truly the most important person in my life. So there’s not really a specific day but, every day is special with her. Unfortunately, this year I am not with her but I will obviously video call her and my sister will make sure she gets pampered. She will cut a cake and my sister will give her a hug for me. My special mother’s day wish would be that I want all the mothers to take less stress, be less selfless. I want them to prioritize themselves and enjoy their lives. Worry less about the kids and the family. I want all the mothers to relax, take a breather and relish life. I want kids to tell their mothers that they love them, not just on one day but every day. We should be love grateful for having them in our lives.”

On the other hand, Akshita, who plays Ishqi, adds, “Mother’s day is a big deal at my house. I have tons of memories with my mother, especially of Mother’s Day. My siblings and I plan something special for her. We give her a day off from all her duties and household work. We get gifts for her, cook for her, plan some surprises, etc. A mother loves her kids the most, but when the kids express their love to her, nothing is more special for her. This time, however, I will plan something with my siblings on a video call. I am sure they will make her feel special and plan something in my absence. My mother’s day wish would be that whenever we get a chance to do something for them, we must do it and express our love. Just a sorry can make their day. We hurt them unintentionally sometimes and don’t realize it. So we should just apologize for those things and thank her for everything that she always does for us. A very happy mother’s day to all the beautiful mothers out there!”

Lastly, the Shagun, who essay the character of Sonu, shares, “I have many memories with my mother, however, the most favourite is how she brags about what I do, how proud she is. She doesn’t hold back. I come from a small town there were people, relatives who didn’t like the fact that I was into acting, in fact a few of them said it to my mom that I should change my field and become a doctor or an engineer but she supported. My mom doesn’t care about what others think that’s what I love the most. This year, I am working, I am not in Himachal so I can’t do much. I will celebrate the day when I see her next. Mothers are God’s gift. I believe in it completely. I know how bad I feel or how I get when I have a tiny bit of argument with my mom. I wish that my mom and all the other mothers stay happy and healthy.”

Happy Mother’s Day!
