To mark the importance of this beautiful bond, every year, the festival of Raksha Bandhan is celebrated in many parts of India. On this day, the sisters tie Rakhi in the hands of their brothers by taking a promise of being their guarding angels always. Our popular TV actor Aman Gandhi, who plays the role of Ayush in Zee TV’s Bhagya Lakshmi, has different plans to celebrate the festival.
In conversation with IWMBuzz.com, Aman revealed his Rakhi celebration plans and said, “When I was young I did not like getting up early in the morning for Raksha Bandhan, but now when I have grown older and my sister is in a different city, I understand the importance of this day and I miss those morning rituals even more. We always have fun when we are around each other. Having said that, with the shoot of Bhagya Lakshmi going on, I won’t be able to visit her, but we’ll celebrate Rakhi virtually, and like always, I will surprise her with a special gift.”
