Deepika Singh the talented actor known for her lead portrayal in Diya aur Baati Hum, shares a very close bond with her brother and sisters. Rakshabandhan signifies the festival that strengthens the family chord that Deepika shares with her siblings.
On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, Deepika talks about her brother and the importance of this day for her and her family.
Says Deepika, “I share a very close bond with my brother Manish Singh. He listens to me and my problems so patiently without judging me or taking them personally. He always manages to help me out regardless of me calling him at the last minute.”
The significance of the day for Deepika is to, “Celebrate the bond that she cherishes the most with her sisters and brother.”
Deepika has had many fond memories from her childhood of Rakshabandhan. Sharing one such, she states, “Personal Rakhi memories was when we were in schools and my younger brother Manish gifted me a pair of earrings out of his pocket money. I never expected this from him that he will sacrifice his pocket money for me.”
Deepika has only one wish this Rakshabandhan. “I just wish that our bond remains the same. I’m elder than him, so I have never expected or wanted to take any gifts.”
On her Rakhi plans for this year, Deepika quips, “I will visit my mum’s place and will enjoy the delicious cuisine made by her with all my siblings.”
