What is the significance of Rakshabandhan in your life?
Rakshabandhan is always special for me. Since childhood, I and my cousin would compete about who gets to have the most rakhi on our hands. Every Rakshabandhan all my cousins would meet at one decided place and then we would celebrate it. It is like a picnic for the whole family.
Tell us about the one special person with whom you share a sisterly bond(can be your own sister, or a friend/well-wisher who is like a sister) vice-versa sister too.
My younger sister is the special person with whom I share this bond. But the rest of my cousins are also very close. We help each other and ask for whatever advice whenever needed and are always ready to help each other.
Tell us about your personal Rakhi memories.
Like I said earlier, I and my cousin brother, used to compete with each other. At the end of the day, we would meet and see who has the most rakhi on our hands. It was more of a psychological win rather than winning anything.
What are the kind of gifts you wish to give on Rakhi?
We would always tease our sisters by first giving them stupid gifts like empty boxes or just 1 rupee to make them angry. But then we give them proper gifts. Anything that they want, we try to give it to them.
What are your plans for Rakhi this year?
No special plans as such. Just all of us getting together and having dinner after celebrating.
Wish all our readers a Very Happy Rakshabandhan!!
