Talented actress Akansha Sareen who essays the role of Rocky’s best friend Sanya in Star Plus show Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji is having a whale of a time playing the role of a character suffering from a bipolar disorder.
Sanya has been extremely close to Rocky (Ansh Bagri) and cannot see any other girl getting near him. With Happy (Jasmin Bhasin) having a major role to play in Rocky’s life now, Sanya is losing her control and is getting wild.
Says Akansha, “I have been mostly shooting scenes in the last few days where I have to break all sorts of things, like the bottles, vases, tables etc (smiles).”
“It is intense at the same time, playing Sanya is fun. I think people around me feel that they need to be afraid of me because I have a capability of flipping any moment (laughs),” states Akansha.
The young actress has been on the receiving end too, with lot of hate messages coming from the loyal viewers of the show. “I freak out at times seeing the messages I get. The hatred from viewers towards Sanya has just started to pour in. I love the attention. At the same time, I don’t want to be typecast as a face who can only play negative roles. I have my fingers crossed.”
