Scott revealed the truth about his split during an honest interview with Kourtney on KUWTK. He essentially stated that he and Sofia were unable to make it work since his top priorities remained his children and Kourtney.
“I just believe people come into our lives and think it’s maybe easier than they think,” Scott explained to Kourtney, referring to how they both balance new relationships while keeping the past that binds them together. Furthermore, he admitted to his ex that seeing each other, working together, and being friends is “certainly not simple.”
These considerations appear to be the primary cause of Sofia and Scott’s breakup. The proprietor of the Talentless brand discussed how he was spending more time with Kourtney and their kids while leaving his girlfriend behind.
“Everyone is like, ‘oh I’ll do anything because I’m so happy or so in love and so excited,’ you know what I mean?” when you first meet someone. Scott went on to say, “But once it settles in and becomes real life, things change dramatically. I don’t think I could do it the other way around, but I’ve always made it plain that my children and my life with them are my top priority. I even stated that one of my top priorities is to look after you.”
Sofia was called a “trooper” by the reality star for dealing with the ups and downs of Scott’s personal life during their relationship. However, given his dynamic life and the things she wanted out of a relationship, he surrendered that there was no way for him and her to make it work.
