Actress Shubhangi Atre who has been one of the main pillars of the long-running show on &TV, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, says that Holi is one of her favourite festivals. She adds that she would be celebrating the festival in Dehradun this year.
“Holi is my favourite festival! I love celebrating Holi with my friends. But this year, I’ll be in Dehradun, as you all know, for the shoot of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain – The Movie. We have a one-day break, so I will be experiencing Holi in Dehradun this time. I am looking forward to it!” she says.
Ask her to describe herself in a colour, and she says, “If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be “White”—because I am number 2 and the Moon, is my ruling planet. I love the colour white because it symbolizes purity, peace, and positivity.”
Talking about how she plays Holi, she says, “When it comes to playing Holi, I prefer dry Holi with organic gulaal. But at the same time, I enjoy rain dance parties with good music and water splashes. I am totally against water balloons. They can hurt people badly! I have been hit several times in my building, and I have seen others get hurt too. Holi should be about fun, not causing pain or irritation to anyone.”

Sharing her best Holi memories, she says, “I have so many beautiful Holi memories, but childhood Holi celebrations were the best. Back then, we didn’t worry about skin damage or anything else, we just played freely and had the most fun. There was a different kind of excitement in those days!”
Happy Holi to one and all!!
