Mohit Malhotra the chocolate boy has had a good memorable journey as the lead in &TV’s Daayan which is all set to shut shop over this weekend (28 July).
Mohit has tried out varied roles in his career ranging from being the lover boy to essaying sheer negative roles.
He has been part of TV shows Sasural Genda Phool, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Kya Hua Tera Vaada, Beintehaa, Chupke Chupke etc.
Mohit sees Daayan as a special happening in his acting career especially because he never ever thought that he could do a character like this.
Says Mohit, “Honestly, I had never thought of playing a supernatural character or be a part of a supernatural show like Daayan. I had never imagined myself being a part of something like this. When I was given the opportunity, I gave it a shot and everything just fell in place. I have had a good time and a great experience as an actor. As always it was an amazing experience to work with Balaji, it was like coming back home. But as every good thing comes to an end so did our show.”
Mohit feels that it is good to wrap up shows when viewers look to have more of it. “Honestly, it is better to end a show when it is doing good and the audience loves it, instead of dragging the story unnecessarily. The best idea is to come with a second season. The audience also gets excited as well as the actor also comes back rejuvenated. The entire show can have a fresh perspective towards the concept. I hope that Daayan also comes up with another season.”
Best of luck, Mohit Malhotra!!
