It is a huge responsibility to play Baba Ramdev: Kranti Prakash Jha

M.S. Dhoni fame Kranti Prakash Jha is all geared up to carry the mantle of playing the role of the renowned Guru Baba Ramdev for Discovery JEET’s show, Swami Ramdev: Ek Sangharsh. The biopic on the learned man will be produced by Ajay Devgn Film Productions and Watergate Production.

Says Kranti in an exclusive talk to IndianWikiMedia.com, “It is a huge responsibility to play this role. I feel very fortunate to have bagged it. Baba’s teachings have so much in them that the TV viewing audience needs to know of. We only know Baba through television and media. So this is an opportunity for all to know the real story of Baba.”

Kranti is very much inspired by the teachings of Baba Ramdev. “In the interaction I have had with Baba, I got to learn so much from him. He is a very lively and happy person. In fact, the power he had in his yogic skills is awesome. He told me that he cured a guy who was suffering all his life with congestion, and this was possible through yoga. Babaji has sacrificed himself to the betterment of mankind. I am grateful that I have got to play his role in the biopic.”

Kranti managed to learn the art of yoga from Baba. “His penance in Yoga has been for years. Yes, I learned few asans from him during our meet-up and I keep practicing them whenever I have time on hand. I got lots of blessings from Babaji and I look forward to playing his role onscreen.”

Kranti is a lucky man as he will get to live the lives of two eminent personalities via biopics on Discovery JEET. IndianWikiMedia.com has reported about the actor playing the role of the famous Indian Hockey Coach, Harinder Singh in his biopic produced by Graymatter Entertainment.

Ask Kranti about it, and he states, “Yes, playing Harry was yet another challenging experience. However, I am not allowed to speak on that yet.”

Kranti, all the best for this challenging one!!
