Hitesh Bhardwaj the talented actor who enthralled audiences in the role of the lover boy Manav is back in the popular Colors show Choti Sarrdaarni in a completely different avatar.
Says Hitesh, “The comeback journey has been really good. I am very happy with the character I am getting to portray now. I have been getting lot of messages on social media and on mails. When I moved out of the show with the death of Manav, I got lot of messages that they are missing Manav in the show. And now when I have got back, loyal viewers of the show are happy with my return. I am glad to know that people are happy with my return in Choti Sarrdaarni.”
“It is a challenge for me right now, to play Vikram Diwan. It is not easy at all. After playing Manav, the task is that I play Vikram without any similarities between them. The challenge is to keep Vikram extremely different to what Manav was. I think I am doing it well to an extent. I am getting a lot of support from the team and I thank them for that,” avers Hitesh.
Ask Hitesh on how he took the long gap in the show in his stride and he states, “Yes, I always knew I was to come back. The story was going well and it was enjoyable. And when the talks of return happened, COVID-19 outbreak happened. So yes, it has been a long wait. But I believe a lot in this character and I had to get back.”
Talking about his character, he quips, “Vikram is someone who is blunt and sincere to his work. He is quick in understanding things. His sixth sense works really well. I will not call Vikram negative, but a person who will do anything to get the truth out.”
