Actress Aishwarya Raj Bhakuni who was seen playing Devi Parvati in Shrimad Ramayan has joined the cast of Jai Veer Hanuman, the new Swastik Productions show on Sony SAB, and will play Devi Parvati again. As Holi approaches, Aishwarya shares her plans, fond memories, and thoughts on the festival colours.
Talking about her plans for this year’s Holi, Aishwarya says, “For Holi, I think I will be shooting, and if not, I might go to a Holi party with my friends.” While work commitments may keep her busy, she hopes to steal a moment to celebrate the festival with her loved ones.
When asked which colour best represents her personality, Aishwarya picks pink without hesitation. “I am the colour pink—soft and powerful, delicate but unreadable. It is the colour of love, warmth, and kindness, and that’s how I am. It represents my childlike innocence and the beauty of my soul, but pink is also bold and stands out.”
While many enjoy the thrill of water fights, Aishwarya prefers a more subtle way of playing. “I love dry Holi with gulaal as the colors mixed with water don’t come out easily. Since we have to shoot, I prefer dry Holi,” she explains.
Holi is a festival of nostalgia, and Aishwarya fondly recalls her childhood celebrations. “My father used to prepare water balloons, and my sister and I used to throw them at my friends on Holi. Those were some of the best times!”
Festivals are incomplete without delicious treats, and Holi is no exception. “I love eating all the festive Holi snacks like gujiya and matri,” Aishwarya confesses, proving that the festival is as much about food as it is about colors.
Happy Holi to our readers!!
