Faisal Shaikh is the Mr Faisu currently entertaining the audience with his charm in Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. The stunt-based show hosted by Director Rohit Shetty has managed to impress the audience with his never giving up attitude. He also keeps his loving fans engaged with him by sharing posts, reels, and videos on his Instagram account. However, an interview with Indian express revealed that the pressure to continuously create content is sometimes good. Also, he has set up a level to which the content should match, or the audience will be disappointed.
Mr Faisu said, “Sometimes you do not get the time. Especially when you compete against this, there are so many other things to take care of. After a tiring day, you want to keep your phone away but also know that fans are waiting for you. This is why I try my best to shoot and share something with them. It can get pressurizing at times, but fans’ love has made me who I am today. I don’t think I would have reached here if it wasn’t for social media. Hence, I love this expectation and try to fulfil it what may come.”
As he is now a part of the mainstream media industry, it seems that not getting entry of social media stars into the mainstream industry was just a prejudice. While denying this, Faisu replied, “Most people I meet have a love for me. I have never had a bad experience that I can remember. Even on Khatron Ke Khiladi, I am working with such big television stars, but none of them has looked at me differently. I have had the best of bond with each one of them.”
And when asked nothing about his being a social media star Faisu journey, Mr Faisu revealed that he’s happy and humble and would never let success go on his head, and even he is proud of his journey. “Everyone knows where I come from, what I did before I became popular. I was happy then, and by the grace of God, I am very happy in life even now, and so is my family. However, I keep myself grounded because I know all this is temporary. God forbid, but one can lose everything in a second. Such is this profession. At no point in my life have I taken pride in what I do. I can still go back and be that salesman again at Bandra. I will have no shame in doing so because that was part of my journey.”
Mr Faisu has been part of many music videos with several celebrities and made his acting debut with Bang Bang. Some fans loved him as a hero, while others criticized him for his poor performance, to which the star says, “I am not a born actor, and neither have I trained in it. I think one keeps getting better with time. I think I would still rate myself a 50-60 per cent, and I am working hard to at least achieve 90. I still have to groom myself and also grow a lot. I am still here and will manage to change the perception of my critics soon with my work.”
