Smart and suave Shraddha Arya, who rose to fame with Life OK’s Tumhari Paakhi and Dream Girl, is all set to take audience on a new journey with her upcoming show Kundali Bhagya on Zee TV.
The pretty damsel, who is playing the character of Preeta in the above mentioned daily, was looking utterly cute in her orange top and traditional yellow skirt at the launch of the show.
While talking to Indianwikimedia at the press conference, Shraddha spoke about her new venture and more…
“I am not pressurized at all. I will just do my best and make the character real. I can promise audience that this show will not be a daily which will come and go like a blink and miss sort of as there are good actors and the characters are made by Ekta (Kapoor),” said the actress.
In today’s time, TV shows get overnight replacements and shows go off air within three months of launch. So we asked Shraddha how unstable is an actor’s life, and she averred, “An actor’s life is not easy. Trust me you wouldn’t want to be an actor. You really need a support system in your life in the form of your parents or someone else. When a support is missing in difficult times, people tend to go into depression and sad type of cases happens. Every field has its hardship period but in this field the amount of rejections are more compared to others.”
When we asked Shraddha about any regrets in life, she quipped, “My regret in life is that when I was working in South industry, I desperately wanted to join Hindi fraternity. When I was doing great in South, I left that and came to Mumbai. When I started working in Mumbai, the South industry flourished. Then I regretted as to why did I not continue. I think somewhere I could have been wiser in selecting my projects. I could have done better as people were very receptive in South. I think I did not appreciate it.”
Shraddha said that she sees her character Preeta in her sister as she is a girl who has low aspirations in life. However, Shraddha herself is a dreamer in life.
Lastly, talking about her marriage, she shared, “I may be soon settling down in real life. There is only love marriage for me.”
We wish you good luck, Shraddha!
