Vaishnavi Macdonald, the veteran actress, who has enthralled audiences in shows like Miley Jab Hum Tum, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, and Tashan-E-Ishq, is currently essaying the role of Anubha Hooda in Zee TV’s latest offering Meet. Talking about her project, she shared, “It feels amazing to be a part of Meet because it is a unique show and my character in the same is so real. Even the look, as well as the family bonding, is realistic. The one thing that I love the most about my character is its simplicity and honesty of emotions and also the love for her daughter Meet. I just want audiences to love my role so that it surpasses the other characters that I have played so far.”
Vaishnavi revealed the challenges faced while getting into the skin of the character? She mentioned: “It was the Haryanvi dialect. It is a bit difficult to remember the words in the dialect. But I love challenges. Also, the director and creative team have been very helpful in shaping up the character well. For my role, I just paid attention to the detailing given by the director Vaibhavi ji and creative Shweta.”
How is your working experience with Ashi Singh again? “We worked together in Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hain and now we are sharing screen space again. It is amazing. She is a soothing presence and I feel very protective about her as I do for my own daughter. Ashi brings the mom out in a big way with her innocent and soft looks.”
On an end note, Vaishnavi shared a special message for fans and said: “I love you all loads. After I thank God above everything I must say to all my fans, ” Tum nahi toh hum nahi. Tum ho toh hum hain.”
