Kanika Mann, the talented actress, who rose to fame with her role of Guddan in Guddan Tumse Na Ho Paayega, is back on screen with her new show. The actress in an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz.com opens up about her latest role as Tara in Colors TV’s newly released show, Chand Jalne Laga.
When asked about her role as Tara, Kanika stated, “Tara is very different from the previous characters that I have played in my career. Having said that, Tara is not different; she is like all of us and is a very relatable character. She’s making great steps in her career as an interior designer, and she is the peacemaker of her family.”
Kanika’s look from the teaser has a potential resemblance to Alia Bhatt’s look in the movie ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani. While addressing a question, Kanika clarified, “My appearance in the teaser is not inspired by the movie. Tara’s look was designed to suit the character and the narrative of our show. The plot of the show and the characters are unique. However, if people have drawn these parallels, I think it’s flattering. I take it as a compliment.”
Kanika also shared her thoughts on working with co-star Vishal Aditya Singh, praising his acting skills. She said, “I feel Vishal Aditya Singh is an underrated actor. The industry has no idea about his capabilities as an actor. He is extremely talented and hardworking. While shooting with him, I have seen him getting into his character and giving his best. He never fails to give his best shot with his amazing expressions. When I shot my first mock shoot with Vishal, and during that scene, I felt we had amazing chemistry. I believe this will be seen by the audiences as well.”
