Tunisha Sharma, the young and talented actress, who amassed fans with her projects like Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Ishq Subhan Allah, and Internet Wala Love, is back on TV with a new role.
The diva, who played the role of the young Firdaus in the Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor starrer Fitoor, is seen as Mariam in Sony SAB’s show ‘Alibaba Dastaan-e-Kabul’. Talking about the show, she said, “For a long time, I was in talks with the production house for Alibaba Dastaan-e-Kabul. Finally, things streamlined and I got the opportunity to play the role of Mariam. Alibaba- Dastaan-e-Kabul is a show like no other and will leave the audience at the edge of their seats. I am ecstatic to be a part of Alibaba Dastaan-e-Kabul and work with an immensely talented team of cast and crew.”
She further explained her character and shared, “Mariam isn’t just any ordinary princess. She’s fierce yet caring and considerate, affluent yet discreet, protected yet brave. The character is very different from any of my previous roles. For the character, I had to lose 5-6 kgs for the role. I am really excited to bring Mariam alive for viewers and my fans.”
When asked how challenging it was to shoot for the horse riding scene, she added, “Instead of difficult, everything is fun for me. I enjoy horse riding. Whenever we shoot with a horse on set, I and Sheezan have a competition on set.”
Tunisha also revealed her experience shooting in Ladakh for the show, she mentioned, “It was an amazing experience to shoot in Ladakh for the show. Along with an interesting storyline, the show will offer an extra dose of breathtaking visual effects and beautiful locations of Ladakh.”
