Talented actor Karanvir Sharma is a well-known name in the industry. He is popularly known for impressing the audience with his power-packed performances in TV shows and Films namely Zid, Mangalam Dangalam, Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani, and Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana. Currently, the actor is seen playing the lead Haider in Zee TV’s Rabb Se Hai Dua.

Karanvir has been winning a lot of appreciation from fans for his role. Talking about what made him sign the show, he said, “The distinct and challenging character of Haider is something that convinced me to be a part of the show. In fact, it is quite different from any part that I have played in the past. Haider is someone who takes his responsibilities very seriously and has been taking care of everyone in his family after his father left his mother and married another woman. He is a man of few words, calm and composed as a person, but touches everyone’s hearts with his actions. He is also a successful businessman, and I must admit that his journey in the show is quite unique.”

The actor further elaborated and revealed how he prepared himself to get into the skin of the character. Karanvir mentioned, “Since the character of Haider is very different from what I have played in the past, I had to prepare myself mentally and emotionally to portray this calm and composed person. Moreover, I really had to learn the nuances of body language, and gestures, amongst others for the part as well. As far as the look is concerned, I also had to put on some weight and for that, I had to eat a lot more, which was something I was not used to since I was on a strict diet before that.”

He continued, “There are a few scenes that also needed perfection and I had to work hard for them.  But I took help from the creative team and the crew to ensure that I get the sequences right. Thankfully, I didn’t have to work on the diction so much as I have already done an Urdu show earlier. I must also mention that I have something in common with Haider. Like he had to take up several family responsibilities early in his life, I also faced something similar in my personal life. So, I relate to him and understand his thought process, and all this helped me get into the skin of my character.”
