Shivam Khajuria, known for his charming on-screen presence in the role of Prem Kothari in Star Plus and Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut show, Anupamaa, is just as fun-loving in real life. With April Fool’s Day around the corner, the actor reminisces about his childhood pranks, playful tricks on friends, and even a time when he became the victim of a prank himself.

Shivam admits that mischief has always been a part of his personality. “I have always been a naughty kid,” he shares. “I used to hide my sister’s things and tell her she lost them. I also played a lot of tricks on my friends, but I am a sport too, I can take a joke as well.”

It’s really embarrassing when you realize someone has fooled you, but then you have to appreciate their effort.

While he enjoys pranking others, Shivam recalls an April Fool’s joke that his family played on him. “I think the best one was when they told me my pet hamster was lost. I searched the entire house for hours, only to realize later that it was an April Fool’s prank!” he laughs.

Though he enjoys pulling pranks, he has also been at the receiving end. “It’s really embarrassing when you realize someone has fooled you, but then you have to appreciate their effort,” he admits.

Shivam is already gearing up for some mischief this year. “I would love to prank my friends. I think I will watch some prank videos on YouTube and get inspired,” he chuckles.

Reminiscing about his school days, Shivam shares a hilarious tradition he and his friends followed on April Fool’s Day. “We used to ask girls out on a date. If they agreed—great! If they rejected us, we’d just say, ‘April Fool!’” he laughs.

With his mischievous spirit still intact, it looks like Shivam Khajuria is all set to make this April Fool’s Day a memorable one!
