Excerpts:

How has it been in the role of Mohit Chavan?

It’s been really amazing playing Mohit Chavan. I feel this character comes from within and I feel great playing it.

Tell us about yourself.

I’m a very chilled guy. I take life as it comes. You can say a boy next door haha.

How is it to be part of the major cast of Ghum Hai?

It feels nice to be a part of a hit show. The reach is bigger, people recognise and it’s like I’ve forgotten Vihan. Everywhere I go, people call me Mohit and I honestly love it because this is what an actor wants right?

What are the kind of roles that interest you?

I’m inclined towards a Grey/Negative character. I’ve played them before for episodic series. If given an opportunity, I would like to explore such types of characters.

Who are your best pals on the set?

I’m a very friendly person by nature. I make friends very easily. It’s difficult to choose one name out of the entire show. It would be unfair on my side to pick one name. I get along with everyone and anyone.

The biggest prankster on sets will be

I think I’m only the biggest prankster on the set. I keep monkeying around the whole day so that all of us work in a chilled zone (laughs)

What is the kind of fan response you are receiving for your role?

Touchwood, the response to my character has been good. Of course, people criticise but that’s a part of my profession. I like it when fans make cute edits and compliment every scene I do. I feel more confident and excited to perform the scenes. It’s been great.
