Siddharth Bodke the talented actor returned with a bang recently in the role of Jagtap Mane in Star Plus’ Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. The character is known for his histrionics, loud yet engaging dialogue delivery and above all, for his craziness in love for Sai (Ayesha Singh).
Like the last time around, Jagtap was welcomed in a very good way by fans!! As soon as the promo broke of the character’s return, the news started trending.
Says Siddharth, “The response has been overwhelming. From the time the promo broke, there was a tremendous response. I felt excited, humbled and eager to do my work better.”
“The response of fans has given me all the motivation. Jagtap has always wanted Sai, and it was interesting to see how the same craziness brought him back to Sai’s life. Jagtap has always been unpredictable,” says Siddharth.
Talking about the off-screen bonding with Ayesha Singh, “We were waiting for this moment to arrive. Ayesha and I share a very good bond, of friendship. It was a blast to meet up with the same team of cast and crew. It was great to work with Neil too.”
Talking about being busy with his work commitments, Siddharth states, “I have been keeping busy with a few web projects and theatre. I have a film too in the kitty. Amidst this when I was asked to return to Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, it was a great feeling.”
“I believe in entertaining fans in any character I play. I never want my fans to get disappointed with any of my portrayal,” he exclaims.
