This is your first as a lead. How excited are you? How is the feeling?

The feeling is surreal. To be honest I still can’t believe that it is finally happening. As an actor, we all wish to have that screen space and get a chance to perform. I always craved for a lead role. Now I am finally getting what I deserve. So I am super grateful and excited, but I also feel very responsible as I don’t wanna let anyone down.

Tell us about your character in Faltu.

She is just like me as a person. She is bubbly and cheerful. Even after all that’s happening in her life, she speaks what’s in her mind. At the same time, she is also very emotional and sensitive. She always stands for what’s right also she is very confident.

What is the one attribute that you like in your character?

I like the fact that she takes her stand, always stands for what is right. Faltu is not one of those who will take crap unnecessarily. She knows how to give it back.

How has your ride been in the industry till now? Take us through your growth curve.

Everyone has their own ups and downs. I can say I am blessed in that sense. Am also very grateful to have such supportive parents who always support me no matter what. Frankly, I am not from Mumbai. I just came to explore the city once and convinced my parents to take me to a few auditions that I came across through Facebook. I can say I am very lucky that those few auditions only led me to my first commercial. It was a good feeling to follow my dream and passion. So my whole family shifted here to support my acting career. Since then, I have been working continuously, doing lots of advertisements, serials also a few movies and now finally “FALTU” has happened. You can say it is my dream role and I will give my best to it. I will promise that I won’t act but will live the character.

What is the main USP of Faltu?

First of all, the concept is unique. The title is unique. The story is very real, different, relatable and raw.
