Bigg Boss 9 contestant Keith Sequeira feels the long wait for his new Star Plus show Love Ka Hai Intezaar was worth the efforts.
“We shot the pilot in May last year but the channel told me to wait for it would have taken some time to go on air. I had no issues for I had liked the narration and concept. I always believe that it is important to do good stuff so that you keep getting work in the future as well. Hence, I turned down a number of projects which I felt were not up to the mark as I didn’t want to disappoint my fans,” says Keith who has also hosted AXN’s Men 2.0 and Super Fight League.
Talking about his character in the show, the handsome actor says, “Although Madhav Singh is royalty having taste for the finer stuff yet is a very people’s person having a very humble approach to life. Co-star Sanjeeda (Sheikh) is a great friend with who I share crackling onscreen chemistry. She is a very giving actress and it is very important to have a give & take approach when we shoot for the betterment of the show .”
Here Keith adds that the show has opened to a good response. “We are getting good traction in the initial episodes. Having said that being an afternoon slot show, you can’t compare it to big ticket prime time shows. But Star Plus wants to increase hours of original programming and our show is just what the doctor ordered. I am hopeful that the numbers will further increase in the days and weeks ahead as the story will really open up.”
Normally, Bigg Boss contestants die out once the show ends, but he has done good for himself. “I got this show soon after the above Colors reality show wrapped up. I guess what worked in my favor was that I came out with a lots of positivity and people’s love.”
Keith, who had done a few films (Calendar Girls and Sixteen) before would not mind returning to tinsel town as well, “But it will have to wait for Jan- Feb 2018, as till then I will be busy with my current project.”
He also would not mind toying with some great digital concepts which seem to be taking over entertainment industry.
We wish him luck & success.
