I usually get angry fast, I will try to maintain a calm composure: Chaahat Pandey on her entry in Bigg Boss 18 921032

Chaahat Pandey is the popular television ‘bahu’ who has gone into the Bigg Boss house this season. Chaahat is known for her crisp portrayals in TV shows Pavitra Bandhan, Tenali Rama, Mere Sai – Shraddha aur Saburi, Hamari Bahu Silk and the very recent Nath. She was excited about getting into the Bigg Boss house and claimed that she had wished for it to happen for the past many years.

IWMBuzz.com engaged in an exclusive conversation with Chaahat Pandey before she entered into Bigg Boss 18, the reality show on Colors.

Chaahat joined politics and was a candidate of the Aam Aadmi Party for the Damoh Assembly constituency of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. However, she lost her ticket. Chaahat was excited about her entry into the Bigg Boss house and claimed that she had an urge to try different things. “I am excited to enter the house. I have done what my heart told me to do. I have given my 100 per cent to whatever I tried. Win and loss are part and parcel of life. I aim to do something different every time. This is life, isn’t it?.”

Talking about her long desire to be part of Bigg Boss, Chaahat said, “I wanted to do Bigg Boss for a long time. This is so very different from a daily soap. You need to stay in front of the camera 24/7 where people get to see your real personality. I am sure that I would learn from this unique experience too.”

When asked about the attributes that she is confident of exhibiting inside the house, she was quick to say, “The best attributes that I carry are honesty and confidence in myself. I talk a lot, so it is very easy for me to mingle with people and make friends.”

On living a regimented life, and donning a no make-up phase in life, Chaahat said, “People will see the real Chaahat Pandey. I wouldn’t say I like make-up. I do it for the sake of my work as being an actor, we need to project our best look. Otherwise, I prefer to have a no-make-up look when I go out.”

“Lifestyle of ours is so very different from the one inside the house. It will be difficult for sure, but I have the confidence that I will adapt to these new changes in lifestyle. I am adjustable and know that I will manage any kind of situation,” she exuded confidence.

On the challenges ahead, she stated, “I will talk politely and tell people what is right and wrong. I will never shy away from keeping forward my point of view.”

When asked about the aspect that could put her off easily, the actress averred, “I get angry very fast. I will try my best to calmly handle things. There won’t be any family member or well-wisher who will give me advice. I will have to manage myself and calm myself down if such a situation arises.”

Her family will be cheering for her and she was happy with the support system behind her. “My family is very excited that I am going into the house. People who have never watched Bigg Boss till now will watch it this time for me. They are rooting for me.”
