Avinash Mishra is known for his versatile performances as an actor. For the first time, he has stepped out of his comfort zone of being part of fiction shows and has accepted a reality show offer. As Avinash put it when we interviewed him, there was no practice needed for reality shows, and it was a direct entry into the biggest of reality shows for him. Yes, he is one of the contestants in Bigg Boss 18, the Colors reality show.
Before entering the house, he talked exclusively to IWMBuzz.com where he talked about his participation. “It feels great. I have done a lot of fiction shows. Now I am stepping into the reality shows, and that too with the biggest reality show, that is Bigg Boss.”
He expressed his happiness that he could pick up this offer this time around. “I have been approached for Bigg Boss in the last three years. I could not take it earlier as I was busy with my fiction shows. You know, it gets tough to accept a new offer when you are committed to a show. This year when I was approached, I was free. I gave it a thought about coming out of my comfort zone. So here I go.”
Avinash was ready to take things as they came inside the house. “I am ready for all the conflicts. But I hope I don’t get into a lot of them. It is difficult to strategize for a show like this. I enter with a calm and free mind.”
When asked about the attributes in him that he would want people to observe, Avinash said, “I want people to see my funny side. I have played all the serious roles so far. I want to real Avinash Mishra to be seen.”
Talking about his ability to make new friends, Avinash said, “Making friends or not is very organic and natural. It depends on the people. It happens when the vibes are there, and friendship does not happen when the vibes are not there. We choose a family for ourselves, and they are friends. We will be thrown into tough situations inside the house. It is to be seen how friendships and closeness develop amid tough situations.”
Bigg Boss house will have a different kind of lifestyle. Talking on this, Avinash averred, “The beauty of the show is that you might be thrown into a difficult situation. The range of difficulty will certainly not be impossible to adjust, but they will not be normal. Let us see how every personality deals with it and reacts to situations.”
He continued, “Everybody has a limit and level of acceptance. Anything beyond that limit will be tough to accept. Some people calm down with time, while some take things diplomatically. There is no point in making any plans ahead. One needs to go with the flow of things in the house.”
On taking a stand wherever needed, Avinash stressed the fact that “You have to take a stand for sure. I believe that one needs to take a stand, whether it is right or wrong. It will be a difficult phase to handle if you do not have any opinion.”
Avinash appeared excited about his entry into the Bigg Boss house. “I hope I see some familiar faces inside the house. I thank my fans for all the love and support throughout my journey. I want them to witness this new journey of mine and will look forward to all the support.”
