Avantika Hundal, the enchanting beauty, who rose to fame with her roles in shows like Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya, recently made her comeback on TV after a gap of 2 years. The actress entered Sony Entertainment Television’s Mose Chhal Kiye Jaaye as Soumya’s (Vidhi Pandya) cousin Prisha.
In the ongoing track, Prisha is making all the attempts to get in between the married couple Armaan (Vijayendra Kumeria) and Soumya (Vidhi Pandya). Talking about her comeback, she said, “It has been an amazing experience so far. However, we have a very hectic schedule hence I don’t even have time to process what’s happening at the shoot. The selection happened very quickly. I was out enjoying dinner with my family and got a call for the show. They explained to me the character. I was intrigued by the role. I have never done a negative role. Hence, I said yes and soon I was given a call time for the next day’s shoot.”
When asked about the preparation for the role, she added, “There has been no preparation at all for the role. I have never essayed a negative role so I tried to understand the role. I convinced myself that the character I am playing is bad, hence I have to be in the bad zone.”
Further talking about fans’ backlash over her role as she entered as the third wheel, Avantika mentioned, “I feel that is normal now. In fact, I think if fans start getting angry, that means my job is well done. As long as I am happy doing what I am doing, I am absolutely okay.”
Finally, Avantika revealed the challenges she faced while getting into the skin of the character, she shared, “Sometimes on a personal level, you might feel bad about doing something that you would never do. However, that is acting, you have to convince yourself and play all sorts of characters. Being a bad person is one of them. Now, I have realized that essaying a positive role is much easier to relate to. It is not going to be easy for Armaan and Soumya now since her entry will bring a new bunch of twists and turns into their life. I hope viewers like my new avatar.”
