Aishwarya Khare, the demure beauty, who rose to fame with shows like Naagin, Yeh Hai Chahtein, is currently entertaining fans as Lakshmi in Zee TV’s new offering Bhagya Lakshmi produced by Balaji Telefilms. The show follows the journey of Lakshmi, a selfless girl of limited means, who despite her humble background and the curveballs life has thrown at her, always puts others’ needs before hers.
Aishwarya, who is all excited to begin her journey with this new role, spoke exclusively to IWMBuzz.com and said, “This is my third show with Balaji Telefilms and I am blessed to be working again with them. The team is so experienced that things happen smoothly. The directors and creative people involved are so skilled that we get to learn something great every day. They have faith in me and they know what I can bring to the table. Vice versa, I also trust them and want to always work with them. Hence, I feel glad to be back.”
Is there any similarity between your character and you? Aishwarya mentioned, “There are quite a lot of similarities. Lakshmi is a soft-spoken girl who loves everyone and is connected with her family. I am also the same in real life. Apart from this, Lakshmi is a selfless girl who thinks about other’s happiness. But in real life, when we decide to help anyone, we think ‘whether this help will not turn into a problem for us’. But Lakshmi never thinks before helping anyone, she is always there for others. This trait I would like to inculcate in my life too.”
Talking about co-star Rohit Suchanti and cast, she added, “Rohit is a cool person. He is very transparent and I am also like that. Hence, we have bonded really well. The entire team has become like one big family and we enjoy shooting with each other. The audiences have accepted us and have been very supportive. I hope they continue to shower their love as we promise to keep them entertained.”
