Actor Farman Haider, who plays the lead role of Dr. Digvijay Gandhi in the Star Plus show Pocket Mein Aasman, talks about the significance of dance.
Farman claims that he enjoys it when he gets into a dancing mood. “I think I would rate myself well as I think I can dance well, and most importantly, I have fun with it .”
He agrees that dance is surely a stress buster. “Of course, dance is a stress buster and it’s a good fun pre-workout.”
“I enjoy the songs and dance of Govinda. For example, in the song Main Raste Se Jaa Raha Tha, you can play with the expressions and dance both,” he adds, talking about how dance can create a happy mood around.
On the significance of dance in day-to-day life, he says, “Everybody needs a physical workout, like how every machine needs repair. It doesn’t matter if you work out or not, but you can at least dance and sweat it out, as sweating it out is very important. Dancing gives you happiness and also keeps you mentally fit.”
Farman Haider, if given a chance, will love to learn this dance art. “I would love to learn tap dancing.”
