It is very important as an actor to be able to keep reinventing yourself: Manish Goel

Manish Goel dons yet another different look for his upcoming Crime Patrol story.

Talented TV actor, Manish Goel, who had returned to the tube after a long gap with Tantra, will now do a special episode of popular Sony show, Crime Patrol, where he has not only anchored the story but also played the lead cop.

“I am very happy to be associated with this most popular and successful crime series. It is a brilliant story which as per the format was shot in real locations and real spaces.”

Here Manish adds, “As usual, I have experimented with my look. If you look at my episodic career, I have appeared in different shows such as Shapath, Savdhaan India, Adaalat, etc. I also attempted to play with my appearances in long-running stints as well, but it is tougher due to time constraints. Here I made sure to keep my body language stiff as per the persona of a no-nonsense cop.”

“It is very important as an actor to be able to keep reinventing yourself. Sporting diverse looks helps us to play varied characters better. The first physical impression is always the last and then comes acting which I am not bad with either (smiles)”.

On a closing note, he adds: “I really liked anchoring the above episode for it gave me a chance to be myself, and yes, help spread awareness about staying safe. I would love to do more hosting as I think I have the required spontaneity and presence of mind.”
