It is important to give freedom to kids, but at the same time keep a tab on them: Mansi Salvi

Versatile actress Mansi Salvi has bagged yet another challenging role to portray with Star Bharat’s newest presentation, Papa By Chance, produced by Aamir Jaffer and Sonali Jaffer’s Full House Media.

Mansi plays the role of Sucharita Chopra, a business-minded lady from Delhi, who is the mother of the protagonist Yuvaan (Zebby Singh).

Says Mansi, “I simply love being in the character as it is very relatable. In the story, the lady has a 22 years old son; the mother and son go through difference of opinions. Sucharita also goes through a mid-life crisis. She broods over her disturbed past, is upset with the present life she lives in, and is worried about her future. Amidst all this, comes the clash she has with her son and issues in parenting. Also, when the kids come into my son’s life, he also goes through the same parenting issues.”

Mansi who is a mother in real life feels that it is necessary for parents to keep the balance right between giving freedom and keeping a tab of what they do. “Yes, one needs to give the freedom to the kids, but at the same time, watch out and question them so that they realize that you are keeping a strong hold on what they do in life. The show depicts both the sides very clearly; it shows life from a kid’s point of view on how they look up to their parents and the viceversa too.”

Mansi is very happy with her role and is all geared up to enjoy the stint. She’s also upbeat for another reason, that is her different look for the show. “My look in the show is amazing. Since she is a Delhi lady, I have been given long suits with palazzo pants, with grand Indo-western jewelry. Also, I have a different color to my hair and I really look forward to being seen on screen.”

Wish you all the best, Mansi!!
