Young and talented Manish Goplani, who took the audience by storm with his acting chops in Colors’ Thapki Pyaar Ki, says that real cops have been scared of him in Delhi.
Manish is currently enchanting audience as Special Agent Bhim Singh Bhullar in Zee TV’s Detective Didi.
“There have been incidents wherein the real cops have got scared of me. I remember one such incident, I was standing beside a temple dressed in the uniform, waiting for my shot. I saw two cops who were collecting money. As soon as they saw me, they ran away. If people see me, they start wearing their seat belt too. I feel like an actual cop. I feel some kind of responsibility when I wear the uniform,” says the actor.
He adds, “On the first day of the shoot, the writer came with a script about the initial episodes. The first episode had a lot of voice-overs wherein there was a line which talked about huge amount of cases being pending in India. I was very shocked and that made me little emotional too. I was wondering that we have so many cases pending and people fighting for it.”
When asked whether he has been receiving love in abundance in Delhi, the same way in which Mumbai’s fans treated him and he reveals, “I would say Delhi has showered me with more love. In Mumbai, if we used to shoot outdoor, there used to be less people watching it. Here, every day we have people gathering and watching us live on streets. I am blessed to have so many well-wishers and fans. The happiness of my family, fans and friends makes me happy in life.”
Way to go boy!
