Actor Vin Rana who has been winning hearts as Purab Khanna in Zee TV’s extremely popular and top-rated show Kumkum Bhagya is happy with his association with the show!!
Says Vin, “The character is wonderful and I have been having a great experience. I am very happy with what I am being offered in my character graph.”
Vin who rose to limelight in the character of Nakul in Swastik’s Mahabharat finds himself lucky to have got the opportunity to work with amazingly talented co-actors so far. “I have learnt a lot from Shabbir Bhai and Sriti and every other actor on the set of Kumkum Bhagya. Even in my previous shows Mahabharat and Vishkanya, I have worked with a great set of actors who have always helped me,” he avers.
Talking about the immense popularity that Kumkum Bhagya bags, the actor very clearly states, “The whole team associated with the show is very good. In fact the show in itself is blessed. It is not an easy feat to stay on top for four long years. All in the team work hard. The best part is that everything on the set is so sorted and organized. It is not that we do not get our off days and breaks; everything gets accommodated so very well. An actor will rarely get to work with this kind of a team.”
Vin feels that he has had a great personality development after getting into this industry. “Earlier, when I was doing my own business, I was not like this. I used to be arrogant too. But the biggest learnings I have got from this industry are to be very humble and professional even when you grow. I took time to learn this, but I am happy that I have learnt it. It is very important to be humble towards your team and your fans. My whole personality has changed and with all the years of work, my confidence level has boosted quite a lot. Also, my acting capabilities have gotten better. So overall it has been agreat journey as an actor,” Vin exclaims.
Looking ahead, Vin will want to explore different genres of work. “However, comedy is one genre I will love to try. Also, in my wish list is to play a good-looking, stylish, negative character, something on the lines of Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom.”
Vin gels the best with co-stars and leads Shabbir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha from the Kumkum Bhagya cast. “I get along really well with everyone on the set. But it so happens that you strike the best chord with very few, and they happen to be Shabbir Bhai and Sriti for me. Also, I have a great tuning with Ruchi Savarn, who is cast opposite me. As Purab and Disha, our chemistry is also recognized and appreciated.”
Before signing off, Vin reveals that every now and then, he has had the thought of looking for greener pastures. “But such thoughts get nullified with the love that I receive in my character for Kumkum Bhagya. The only feeling that remains now is that I want to live every moment of being part of the Number 1 show.”
Well-said, Vin!!
