Actor Abhinandan (earlier known as Abhinandan Jindal) is excited about his intense portrayal in the role of Aarav Jindal in Zee TV’s Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, the Shoonya Square show.
The actor who has tried out varied roles in TV shows Sasural Simar Ka, Thapki Pyaar Ki, Jiji Maa, Krishna Chali London now plays the very doting brother of Choti Guddan (Kanika Mann).
Says Abhinandan, “I am getting a really good response for my role of Aarav Jindal in Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega. This character is so opposite to Saajan of Krishna Chali London. He is very intense; there is quite a lot of depth in his role. He can do anything for his sister Choti Guddan. I enjoy this trait in the character. The intensity in him is one of the biggest traits in this character. At the same time, when he is before his sister, he is so genuinely soft and sweet. He can even scold his mother Durga at times, but will never raise his voice to scold his sister. They have a very good bonding.”
“Aarav is very positive, a nice guy basically, but the intensity in him and his urge to always be there for his sister and protect her, will give the character a good graph,” he adds.
Abhinandan who was away from limelight for nearly two years after Krishna Chali London talks of his break. “Well while playing Saajan in Krishna Chali London, I took a decision to increase my weight so that it enhances the character all the more. However, at the end of the show, I understood that I had put on quite a lot of weight for the role. This became a huge disadvantage for me, as I started getting roles beyond my real age. Also I was getting similar kind of roles. For me, my versatility as an actor needs to be tapped all the time. So I waited for a good role, and when I was offered this role, I was more than happy taking it.”
Talking of the response he has been getting for Aarav Jindal, Abhinandan tells us, “The channel has liked my performance. I am being liked for the intensity with which I am delivering my role. So fingers are crossed, and I hope I am able to justify my role in the best way possible.”
