Actress Seema Pandey essays the role of the Maharani in Star Bharat’s Kaal Bhairav – Rahasya 2 produced by Ravindra Gautam’s RG Pictures.
However, not many are aware that she was first finalized to play the Rajmata in the royal family. Few changes in characterization happened, which resulted in characters being shuffled.
Says Seema, “When I got on board the show, I was to play the Rajmata. However, later on, I was given this role of Maharani. The best part is that both the roles have the same standing when it comes to being powerful. Hence I had no second thought on taking up what was offered.”
Talking about her character she avers, “Maharani has all the authority and power in the royal family. I am fortunate enough to have gotten this role. This is not a typical daily. As an actor, I am enjoying playing the role. Every scene that we shoot brings in a shock as we get to know the story line only when we shoot. The show is rich in content and we have a good intriguing story line, which will surely impress viewers.”
“When you are part of such a thriller and intrigue based show, you need to be alert with your surroundings. When I watched the first episode, I found it very catchy as there were so many things happening in that short time. It you are observant, you can perform better in such a genre,” she adds.
Seema Pandey has had a vast career in TV is known for her roles in Kabhi Sauten Kabhii Saheli, Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Jamai Raja, Hum Paanch Phir Se etc.
Talking about the response gotten so far from viewers, she states, “We are getting a good response. People are impressed with the story line and like the fast pace in the story. There are so many incidents happening that they don’t get time to switch between channels. The intrigue element in the story is the key for us and we hope the show does well.”
Seema is happy to be working for this Ravindra Gautam show. “The Producer, cast and crew is amazing. We have an amazing talent of actors. It is fun working with all of them. When you work with good actors, there is a good give and take that happens and this is important for the sequences to come out well.”
On the expectations she has from the show, she avers, “Well, this is a very differently shot show. There has been lot of hard work involved, with every crew member putting in great effort. My expectation is that we should have good ratings.”
Kaal Bhairav – Rahasya 2 has Gautam Rode, Additi Gupta, Sonia Singh, Seema Pandey, Vineeta Malik and others in the cast.
