Cezanne Khan, the talented actor, who is popularly known for his lead role of Anurag in Kasauti Zindaggi Kay, is back on screen with a bang. The actor is currently essaying the character of Nikhil in Sony TV’s latest offering Appnapan – Badalate Rishton Ka Bandhan.
Talking about the show, Cezanne said, “This show is being produced by Balaji Telefilms. So for me, it is like coming back to Balaji after a very long time. When I heard the story, I found it very interesting. As an actor, I have always wanted to explore different genres and characters that help me create a strong impact on the audience. Also, I try to attempt something that I have not done earlier. The show gives me ample opportunity to do so with Nikhil’s character. These were the reasons I opted to come on board.”
Elaborating more about his character, Cezanne added, “Nikhil is one of the most-loved celebrity chefs in New York. While he loves his kids, he is an absentee father to them, who tries to make up for the gap by providing them with materialistic luxury. Nikhil’s character has so many layers which makes it very interesting. So, getting into the skin of the character and portraying those layers has been quite challenging. Also, it is a great learning experience for me.”
When asked about one special quality he loves about his role, he mentioned. “Nikhil is the provider of the house. I feel every father should be the provider of the house. That is the one thing I really like about his character.”
