Saumya Tandon mentioned that the reason for quitting Bhabhi Ji at its peak success was her conscience. _

Saumya Tandon – The television actress, popular for her role as Anita Bhabhi in the show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain, quit the show. It was the perfect role for her in the show and when she decided to leave the show, several people warned her about the risk she was taking with her career.

After two years of quitting the sitcom show, Saumya revealed that she is liking this phase right now because for five and a half years she was Bhabhi Ji and she had absolutely no time to do anything else, which was very exhausting.
Then the pandemic happened and the actress decided to concentrate on her health and exploring new places. For now, she is travelling, anchoring for various events and chat shows, and trying out different formats.

Speaking about ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’ Saumya Tandon mentioned “It is a better strategy to take risks and leave the tried and tested, and comfortable game, and try new things. If you are ambitious and restless for good work, it becomes a little stifling after a bit to keep repeating yourself. There was a point when I realised that I had done everything I could have done in that show. I thought that if I continue, I would be doing it for money and fame, and that is not right for an artist. I have come here to improve and explore.”

Saumya’s statement made it clear that she does not work for fame or money and that she is truly an artist.
