Actors Abhishek Sharma and Kanan Sharma who got married recently on 8 August are happy to be celebrating their first big festival, that of Ganesh Chaturthi as a couple.
The festival is extra special for both of them as they welcomed Bappa into their home.
Says Abhishek, “This year has definitely been a very special Ganesh Chaturthi as because of Gannu Bappa’s blessings we got married.”
We have got Bappa to our house this year. Kanan and I made sure we did a lot of preparation together… We have been keeping Bappa at our respective houses till now. The festival brings in a new beginning for us and it is a divine coincidence that just after our wedding, Ganesh Chaturthi has come. And as it is said, for the first Ganpati festival of a newlywed couple, Bappa makes sure that he visits them and blesses them with prosperity and abundance. We feel blessed by celebrating our first festival together, that of Bappa’s.”
Abhishek as we know, has been a popular name in the entertainment world. He was seen as a child artist with Hrithik Roshan in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. He has also been part of the successful TV show Miley Jab Hum Tum as the parallel lead. The two of them got rokafied in February this year followed by their wedding in August.
