Actress Komal Sharma who earlier got the opportunity to play actress Chandni Sharma’s elder sister in Sony TV’s Kaamnaa, is happy to be associated with her yet again in Star Plus’ Jhanak. Komal who is back to television after a hiatus, presently plays the role of Sarita in Jhanak. Komal plays the lady who has delivered a kid in the same hospital where Arshi has also delivered. There is presently confusion and intrigue over Arshi’s kid being swapped.
Says Komal, “I was away from television after Kaamnaa happened to me. I wanted to try my luck, being part of web projects. Hence I took a deliberate break from television. But now, when this role of Sarita in Jhanak was offered to me, I accepted the role.”
Komal would want to be a part of interesting concepts and work her way to play engaging roles. “The medium does not matter, the quality of work does matter.”
In Jhanak, Komal is having a good time shooting with the actors. “I have earlier worked with Chandni in Kaamnaa. It is nice to associate with her again. Jhanak is a widely-watched show and I am happy to be a part of it. The story presently is quite intriguing with Sarita and Arshi being the mothers who delivered recently. Jhanak suspects foul play and a swap of kids, and the track ahead will be interesting.”
