It is surprising that viewers want to see more of me with Chakor – Sehban Azim

Sehban Azim who has entered as the new guy in the life of Chakor is happy with the response he has got in Colors’ Udann.

Sehban Azim, the recent new entry in Colors’ popular show Udann (Guruodev Bhalla and Dhaval Gada) is surprised as well as elated with the kind of response he has gotten for his role.

Well, as we know, he has entered in the role of Ajay to create a love triangle and rift in the already established Jodi of Sooraj (Vijayendra Kumeria) and Chakor (Meera Deosthale). While he presumed that he will receive a cold response from the viewers of the show, Sehban has created an instant connect with the audience.

Says Sehban, “It is really strange that viewers have liked me in the show. I am getting positive response from all over, considering the fact that my entry has paved way for a love triangle. It is surprising that viewers want to see more of me with Chakor. I was indeed apprehensive in playing the role. But courtesy Tanu maa’m, the creative on the show, I got convinced and all seems good. The way the character has been etched has also been very nice and different.”

For Sehban, this is the first time he plays a cop on TV. “I initially felt that I could not justify playing a cop. But I am thankful to the creatives of the show for making such a good impact on me with this character.”

Sehban who earlier entered Colors’ Thapki Pyar Ki, again as the guy to break a love Jodi feels that, “My roles in Thapki and Udann have been appreciated a lot. In fact, my creatives on Thapki have liked me in Udaan, and they have appreciated my work. It feels good when you receive such kind of appreciations.”

Sehban has instantly bonded with the young blood of Udann. “Vijay (Vijayendra Kumeria) and I share the same vanity. We have hit it off well. Meera (Deosthale) and Vidhi (Pandya) are great to work with. It is an amazing cast and it feels nice to be part of Udann. Meera, especially is so full of energy that I get reminded of my earlier show Dill Mill Gayye when I see her.”

Here’s wishing you all the luck, Sehban!!
