Bhumika Gurung has been in the limelight for her role of Meera in Star Bharat’s show Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya 2, produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut.
We at IWMBuzz.com were the first to report the news of Tina Philip in all probability playing the role of Meera with Bhumika Gurung exiting the show for health reasons .
We had written about Bhumika not keeping well and we got in touch with her to know about her health status.
Says Bhumika exclusively to us, “I have been down with Typhoid. I have been going on and off to the hospital. In fact, I had a talk with the makers recently, and it was mutually decided that I will not continue with the show. DKP has been really helpful and supportive towards me and my decision. I am grateful to DKP and Rajan Sir for helping me. I am definitely going to work with them again. It is very unfortunate that I could not continue with Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya 2.”
Talking about her fans’ reaction, Bhumika says, “This will be very difficult for the fans to accept. It will be very surprising for everyone. But I hope to bounce back soon.”
